Kaala Paani: LHF-27, Andamani Echinacea and second season announcement

Netflix’s recent release, Kaala Paani, which is being praised and complimented by most viewers for its story, performance, and direction, has been trending in many countries. Also, it became one of the top ten Netflix non-English shows across the globe in a short span of time.

This web show ends with a cliffhanger as there are many unresolved questions in the first part of Kaala Paani, Has Jyotsna actually died? Will Santosh be able to cure his daughter from LKF? Will Dr.Gagra will be able to find the medicinal flower? Will Chiru join hands with Orakas? Will Orakas would rebel against the government officials? Would ACP Ketan be killed by Wani and ATOM staff? If Oraka decide to rebel against Lt. Qadri what would be his next decision? 

The fans of Kaala Paani had a lot of such questions but don’t worry as now, the makers have already been renewed for its second season. This official confirms that the second season of Kaala Paani will released soon on Netflix, where hopefully all our unsolved questions and mysteries will be answered.

It is a survival thriller drama that revolves around the Island of Andaman and Nicobar where a new life-threatening disease LHF-27 is spreading all across the Island. This disease has currently no cure and because the disease originated and is spreading on this island, All the ways through which locals and tourists could transport themselves have been closed. The story mailny revolves around two parts, one where the doctor and government are trying their all to save people’s lives and find a cure for this disease whereas the other part revolves around the people who want to evacuate from the island safely and protect the life of there loved and dear ones. 

This is must must-watch series for all the people who love survival and thriller genres. Though there are some scenes initially that may feel stretched or unnecessary, however, the story is shown wonderfully and the performance done by all the actors is brilliant. This web series direction is also executed perfectly as each episode ends with a cliffhanger leaving audiences with the grip of excitement about the next episode.

What is the disease LHF-27?

LHF-27 is a new variety of disease where the term LHF stands for Leptospiral Haemorrhagic Fever. This is a life-threatening disease that spreads through water. This disease has mainly two stages, wherein the first stage the patient develops a fever and eventually gets dark black patches on the neck. However, Slowly all the symptoms go away, and the patients began to feel back to normal.

 In the second stage, the patients may feel completely normal but the LHF bacteria is still present in their body which eventually leads to continuous hiccups and starts to damage all the organs in the body which eventually leads to the death of the patient. This is the description of LHF-27 disease as per the Netflix show.

It is shown that even in the past this disease was spread in the islands of Andaman and Nicobar and killed many lives but eventually, it disappeared on its own.

Note: This is a completely fictional disease that is created by the show creators just for the show. The disease LHF-27 doesn’t exist in reality.

LHF-27 Disease Cure:

In this series, there are shown two ways through which a person suffering from LHF-27 can be cured.

Method 1: If the person suffering from LHF-27 consumes the flower of Andamani Echinacea, then he can be successfully cured from this disease. The Orakas which are shown as the ancient tribe in Andaman and Nicobar Island figured out this remedy for the LHF disease. As a result, The Oraka tribe always used to eat this flower in order to protect themselves from this deadly disease. The only problem which our characters face in the show is that the now, Andamani Echinacea flower is said to have become completely extinct.

Method 2: Since The Orakas have eaten the flower of Andamani Echinacea for generations. The Orake tribe has become immune to this disease ie. The LHF-27 bacteria does not affect the Orakas. The doctor can use the Oraka tribe people in order to save thousands of citizens who are dying on the islands. However, If this procedure is done the locals and tourists will survive this disease but there is a high chance that the Orakas who are an endangered tribes themselves will lose their lives.
